Silence, and Then, The Words

I needed a place;

a place where I could release and be myself,

knowing there was an audience

but not hearing their shouts;

not seeing their faces

twist up and contort in all different ways

and

I just wanted a place;

I just needed some place;

just somewhere to go

when I didn’t feel to be

inside of me…
